On the day of Waitangi me and my family went to Waitangi 2012, to celebrate Bob Marley’s birthday too, when we got there me my uncle and his family was waiting for my mum, auntie,
my brother and our cousin.
We took photos by the lake and the rides and the main stage, I waited by the lights for my mum and auntie. We saw them coming to the lights, waiting. “WOW” said my cousin Melanie as we walked towards the main stage, I was so excited because there was lot’s of rides and we got to listen to music. When we walked to find a spot to sit and watch the people that was about to sing and dance. I spreed out the sheet to sit on and to eat, when me and my uncle went for walk we walked into my other uncle called Jordan. Then my uncle asked if he could join us, and my mum said “yes.”

After the running around we had water and some food after all the food I watched one group and it was little girls dancing the little girls said “we are going to dance for yous” and they started dancing and they had 3 songs that was in their remix. After we watched the girls we went and we got free Milo and breakfast because they were giving out Milo breakfast to the people who didn’t have breakfast in the morning. When we got back from eating breakfast we went and got shaved ice with different colours, my colour was red, purple and blue and it was nice. I took 4 shaved ice for my mum, brother, auntie and I, I wanted to go back on the rides after I finished eating my shaved ice, I asked my cousin “do you want to come on the rides with me,” and my cousin said “yes, come on then” so we ran there and we went on this tiger ride it was really awesome.

I told my mum if we can have more of our food before I have a little sleep and then I pulled
out my sandwich's out with my banana and orange. My cousin and I went for a walk to the stage up front, When we came back from the front stage I saw Manu Vatuvei eating with his family.
Then I saw one man asking for his older graph on his hat, my auntie told me to take photo
of him and I did he looked straight at the camera.

My Holiday To Tonga

My Holiday was about me and my Mum going to Tonga with my Mum’s friend and her daughter.
On the day we had to leave to go to the Airport we had to say goodbye to my family. I was so excited to go to see my uncle but I new it would be so hot. I said to my mum “I think we need to get to the airport now or we will be late for our flight.”

When we got to the airport we harried so they can send our bags to Tonga. We nearly missed our plane because we got their late and my auntie was waiting for us. We said “BYE” to everyone that was at the airport and gave our passports to the guy that was standing next to the door to go wait in the waiting room.

Me my mum, Auntie and my little cousin was waiting for the plane to come back. My Mum was taking photo’s of my cousin Shireen and I well we were playing with the cards.

Then we took photo’s well we were waiting to get on the plane, and then the people that was at the desk told as to go to the gates to get in the plane.

Then we walked till we got on the plane and they had this think that you can play on at the back of the chairs. I was so excited because when you go up in the air you get this feeling that your flying. After hours and hours we were in Tonga, when I stepped out of the plane it was really hot instead of cold air it was warm air. I saw my uncle sitting up on the roof were people wait for their family to come out of the plane. We walked inside the airport and it was hot I was standing there really hot. It was night time already we were the last people to get out of the airport.

We drove home and there was little kids looking for pigs, you can see lot’s of pigs walking on the road. My cousin she has a pig and a dog but her dog got ran over and her pig it in her cage. We had to stop at lots of shops because we had to find food for the house.

Flim Festival

My favorite movie was Rm5 because they did the haka at the end. When I watched rm5 I was kind of get tired. Then after rm5 we watched rm18 and when I was looking at my brother's class room
I didn't see him in any of there movies and I was laughing.
I had two little kids beside me and they were singing the songs and I was watching them and they were laughing.
After the last movie we walked out of the movie room and then walked all the way to the bus. I hoped on the bus and one of the little kids tried to run away from me but lucky I went after her and I said to the other girl "stay here well I will go and get the other girl" so she listen. We go all the way to school safely.

Kawau Island

One morning my group called Kawau went sailing for the first time. As we were getting ready to go sailing we saw the first group putting out the food for afternoon tea. When we were getting ready they told us to come and have afternoon tea. I was so excited to go sailing in a little boat but I thought it would be scary for me because I thought I was gonna fall out. When we got there this man called Peter talked to us about safety and told us how to sail the boat.

"Who wants to go solo," Peter asked us. There were four people that were up for the challenge! Ramona was called up to hop in a boat. She sailed the boat out and as she was sailing Peter yelled out, "teller to the sail." Ramona followed his instructions but turned around too early and fell out of the boat with a splash. Finally Peter called the last person to go solo. It was so funny because two people fell out of their boat and I laughed so hard when they did.

After all the solo sailors, Peter told us to get into twos and then find you a boat to sail on. Tui and I grabbed a boat and hopped in it. When Tui and sailed off we passed people who were kayaking. Tui looked behind her and she saw a sting ray!
"Senolita lets hurry and get back were Peter is!" We got back as fast as we could. I think Tui was afraid of the sting ray.

Planet Jupiter

One night before I went to sleep I started reading a book about the planet Jupiter, and as I was reading the book I felt myself getting tired and very sleepy so I put the book away and then I drifted off to sleep. While I was sleeping I heard bizarre noises that I have never heard before, as I opened my eyes to checkout where the bizarre noises were coming from I noticed that I was not in my bed and I was not at home.

I started walking around to try and find help, but it was not a place I had been before, as I was walking I noticed something looking at me but I was not sure what it was, when I moved closer I realized I was not on Earth anymore and this thing I was looking at was not human.

I was very scared but I really needed help to get back home, so I moved closer, and the thing I was looking at was green with a huge head with big round white eyes and a very tiny mouth it also had 3 very very long fingers on each arm and two legs with feet that looked like ducks feet. I tried to talk to the alien but he never spoke back to me so I was thinking maybe he does not speak my language, so I just said to him "PLEASE, PLEASE Help me, I really want to go back home" and he answered me and said "I can help you, please don't be sad I wont hurt you".

I asked the alien if he had a name and a family and he said "my name is Jojo and I want to welcome you to my planet, my planets name is Jupiter, and on my planet we are one big family we do not live like humans but we are happy and we are nice and friendly aliens. I will help you get home "I was so excited and happy that I found someone that will help me get back home, and I said to him "please tell me how to get back to my home" and he said "first you must lie down and fall back to sleep" I said to him "no I am not tired or sleepy I just really want to go home" he said to me "please trust me I just want to help you get home but you have to listen to me" I said "OK then".

So I listened to what Jojo said and I laid down and tried my hardest to put myself to sleep, to do this I had to think of my home and my family, and it was working, I felt myself getting sleepier and sleepier, I then opened my eyes and I was back in my own bed and at home, I sat up and realized it was just a dream and then laid down on my pillow and started thinking about my new friend Jojo that I met in my dreams, I was very happy to be back home and I drifted back off to sleep.

The Holidays

On the holidays I went down the line to see my Nana and put a head stone on her grave yard. Because the first time we went down there we forgot to put a head stone in her grave. When we were travailing down the line we stopped at the gas station to get gas. I was so tried on the way I fell asleep in the back sit. When we got half way we saw my Nana's brother's house so we stopped by to see it, because my Nana would stay at his house for dinner.

Finally we got there and I saw my two uncle's and auntie's and my one cousin that was alone and he had no one to play but know he does. When me and my brother got out he said"come here and we will play the game" and my mum said "don't you have your games at the other house" and he said "oh yes I forgot" when it was around 7:00 we had dinner and we were watching Shortland Street. I went to help my auntie pull out the beds for my family, when we got them out we sat down and had a movie night and it was awesome. When my mum finished having a shower I went in there and my mum told me we are going to their other house. so when I finished they said "let's go now, we are going to auntie's other harry seno" I said "OK." My auntie took my Papa's car and my Papa and Nana and my cousin's took the other car's. It took 1 hour just to get to the other house I was so thirsty and hungry I thought it would take 5 or 10 minutes to get to the house.

Then we went straight to the X-Box 360 we played all his games and it was kind of boring a little beet. I went to ask my mum if I can walk to the shop but there was no shop around here and I said "oh, OK." Then we got ready to go back home and we all said "BYE."

IMMERSION ASSEMBLE

When I heard that we had Immersion Assembly today I was so excited because all the teacher's in Team 1,2,,3,4 and 5 had to wear costume's on the first day of the Term and they had to preform in front of the school . After we all sat down in the hall Mr Burt told us our topic and it was about space. Then Mr Burt told us how far away the planets are from each of them. Then I heard him say "it's time for Team 1" and that is when I was surprised to see them but when I didn't. Then Mr Burt said "when your techer is ready then they can take you back to class.

RWC OPENING

I was on the computer and then I looked out the window and I saw the fireworks and I forgot that the RWC was on tonight and then I asked my mum and she said "yep tonight" and I said "can we go and see." Then my auntie rang up at my house and she told us that my uncle was on the mod away and he stop the traffic to watch the fireworks.

As I was getting ready to go and watch the fireworks my mum told me to harry so we can see the fireworks. When we got on the mod away and I saw my family in the middle and then my mum told me to run to them so she can park her car next to them.

When I saw it I was so amazed and then I got my mum's phone and then I was videoing the fireworks. I missed half of it and so we had to go back home and do dinner we had a late dinner because I was at my Nana's house to look after her but I stand there till 3.00 o,clock. I hope I see fireworks at the next RWC and that was cool.

Badminton

These couple of weeks we were learning about Badminton with this lady called Loreen. She has been telling us how to hold a Badminton Racket in your hand even a shuttle. So when Loreen stopped talking she told us to walk to a space were you can’t get hit with a Badminton Racket.
She showed us how to hit the shuttle so she told us. You have to put your racket toward your belly button then you have to put your thumb at the back of the racket then you carefully push it toward the shuttle then it goes flying up in the sky.

Then Loreen said “SHUTTLE” and so we had to keep our racket still and our shuttle still too. Then she told us to get in a circle and she put the bin in the mettle and she said “you have to try and get the shuttle in the bin 5 times.” And then she told us to get 5 shuttle then you have to take 5 steps back and Mr Somerville was taking step and I just followed him but he said “you have to take your owen step because these are my step and I have long leg that is why I am so far away.”

After that she told us to that she will not be here on the last day because another person was coming to teach us about Badminton and she was a NZ Badminton player and in my mind I was thinking that is gonna be fun. Then we had to leave because another class was there so we said “THANK YOU SO SO MUCH LOREEN.”

It is so sad because other schools are poor and our school is rich because we have Netbooks. As I was picking three people to go with me down the Tactile Dome I was shaking well I was picking and my team was Mary, Zion, Eleva and me. So when we were walking to go down the dome it was dark in there I could not see any one it felt like it was just me in the Tactile dome. When we hopped in there we were sacred to go first and Mary stood up and said “I will go first then” so we stood back so she could go in first. So when she went in then Eleva then me and then Zion and we were touching and feeling the wools then the boys came in and so we followed the boys so Mary I let the boys be in the front of us. Finally we found a net so we climbed up it and then we had to feel the wools again because I had a feeling that we were nearly there because I saw a light and there was the door out. When every one came out the dome we left to go to Morrie Maze.

Ice-Skating

On Saturday it was my cousins birthday and she wanted to go to Paradice Ice-Skating. She was turning fourteen and her name was Jamie lee. When I woke up my mum said "harry get up so we can go early" so I got up and hopped in the shower and hopped out and got changed. My mum was starting the car up and she made us lunch to take to Ice-Skating. Me,mum,brother and my cousin Melanie hopped in the car and went straight to my uncle's house and they were just hoping in the car. When we left from my uncle's house and went to Botney's Ice-Skating. We waited for it to open up so we can pay to get in and finally it opened and we me and all of my cousin's walked in and my mum was coming in and she payed for us. I went in and at first it was really cold in there and I walked over by the skat's shop and got my skat's and sat down to put them on. When my little cousin's put there one's on we hopped on the ice and I slipped and I got really wet because I sat down to long. When I went to the side my mum was taking photos of me and my cousin Jamie lee and when she took a photo I fell down and when people went pass they laughed so when they laughed I started to laugh at myself. I went to the shop to bye a drink of water for me and my mum and after my drink of water was finish I went back on the ice to skate. When I went back on I had to get back off because we had to eat lunch and they were just making the ice smooth when we finished I ran back on the ice and I slipped on my back and it felt like some thing like coke split on the floor and it was slippery. Then when my mum told me to come to her I came and she said "come on we are going now because there is a BQ at your uncle's house" so I ran and sat on the chair and got my skate's off and when I took them off I fell off the chair and my family looked at me. Then we went to the car and went to the BQ.

Hi my name is Senolita and I am 10 years old. I am a year 6 at Pt England school. I love to play netball. My Friends are Mary I, Jessica, Alexandria and Serena. I like playing with them because they play netball and they respect me. I really respect them because friends do that to there other friends. My Dad works for milk. He is the greatest Dad I ever had and my Mum works for KFC and she is the greatest Mum I ever had too! I love my mum and dad, I can never stop loving them. My big brother is cool. He is the oldest. I love my brother. He likes rugby and touch. He is cool because he buys me stuff like shoes and clothes.

My Weekend

On Monday I went to my aunty’s house because she had My Beautiful Mommy and the seasons she had season 1 and my sister always come to my aunty’s house and watch season 1 and 2 but she had not watched season 1 so we went to my aunty’s house to watch season 3. When we got there i went at the back because my cousins was at the back playing games with my brother because my brother stayed there with them he lives with my auntie not with us because he is always bored. After playing with my other cousins they had to go home with my auntie Marcel and I played with my little cousins but then they had to go see there auntie and my uncle stayed at home with as so we can watch Mommy when i came inside my dad was up to episode 1 season 1 I told my dad if I can watch episode 1,2 on season 1 and 2. After my sister watched all of season 1 and 2 I ran to the computer so she doesn't go on and watch some movies. When we finish watching My Beautiful Mommy we packed our staff up and put them in the car we said “BYE” and went home to have dinner and go to bed.

Embrassed times

This story are the most embarrassing times of my life!
On Christmas day on December the 25th of 2010 because we had to get some Christmas presents for my cousins. When I went to the Warehouse I went to get a coke and I was shaking it. When we got to
the counter and payed for it, I opened it it SPLATTED everywhere. I was so embarrassed with myself because it looked like I peed myself and some people was laughing at me so I ran to the toilet fast as.

My mum, my brother and I went to the flea market in Pamure in this big as tunnell. In the tunnel there was a picture of the round-a-bout in Pamure. At this sale in Pamure they had shoes and food and donuts there and
hot dogs and lots of chips. I went to the donut store, I had $5 and I went there and said “Can I have 2 bags
of donuts please?” She said, “That is $12” and people were laughing at me because there were people at the back of me.

Year 5,6 Camp
On Wednesday it was the year 5 and 6s camp,some people were taking their bags to the hall.
When we all was waiting in the hall in our groups when I got there we had to wait
nicely. My teams name was RESPONSIBLE ROCKERS,There was nothing to do I went to go
look at our tits.

We were all yelling and talking to their friends because we ad to wait for the teacher to tell us if we can go to Swimarama. I was so excited to go because when we come back we will be able to go look at our own tits. Could not wait till we see our tits I just want to go to sleep.

We all got ready,but first we had to get our togs and put it in our school bags or you can put your togs under your t-shirt and shorts but I put my one on when we got there. when we got there I went to sit were we had to,when the teachers stopped talking she told us to chose 8 people to do the bored race and I did not wanted to do it because I might of lost and I wound be so angry at me because I lost.

When we got back from Swimarama we had to go in the hall and wait for Miss Garden to talk so we can go off and put our bags in our tits and make our own beds. When Miss Garden said to go and get your bags and go to your tits. Miss Garden said to get your bags and all your staff and put it in your tits and make your beds and come outside and sit on the ground.

Camp day 1

Today I went to camp and when I got there we went in the hall and after when the teacher finish talking to as we,walked to the bus and hopped in and the guy that was taking as to the pools in swimarama. When we got there we walked by the shalo bit we had to wait for the year 5,6,7,8 have done their race free style and back stroke.

On Friday 11th in Japan there was a Earthquake and a Tsunami,the time was 2:45pm it was 8.9.
I was so shocked when I heard from my mum,I went to go watch the news
I saw it,it was a great big Earthquake and a Tsunami. I looked at the great big Earthquake
it was huge when the Tsunami it was making a big fat wave it came in and made a
big huge huge wave.

I was really shocked that I started shaking and getting bumps on my legs and arms. I felt so sorry for them I was about to cry for the people that died. Then I went to have a wash and I came back to watch some more. I was telling my mum we should fundraiser for them she said were r we going to get the money from I told her but I fill so sorry for them to go through that. There was over 5,000 people died I think.

Yesterday at 1:00 in the morning a earthquake happened at Christchurch and a famous building got demolished from the earthquake. I was terrified when I heard that there was an earthquake. When I saw photos of the earthquake I felt so bad that I saw some people who got hurt. There were kids in the building when the earthquake hit and some kids might of got hurt too.

When the earthquake hit people were really scared and some people were even crying because
their family is still trapped inside the building and the ambulance people are trying to get the people out. When the people were trapped in the building people some people were saved or were found dead.
God, I hope you take care of the people that got hurt and the people that had family when the
earthquake hit and that their house gets fix soon and they don’t have to stay in the school hall for long. you take ' of the people that got hurt and the people that had family when the

Super Women

When I went to move every thing in my room, the very last thing was my set of draws. But I pushed it too hard and it went though the wall onto the grass outside. I ran all the way downstairs and outside and my draws were broken! I asked mum, "How did I do that?"
"I do not know," She said. So I asked her if I can have another set of draws. But she said, "No, I paid too much money for the first one!" So I ran and asked my dad be he also said, "No." I asked my Auntie she said, "Yes." So when she got it I helped her carry it into my room and I lifted it so hard that it went flying so high up into the air and came down on the ground and broke!

Next morning I went to school and I got some cards and I went to pick them up and they flew up and on the ground I my teacher
said pick the cards up so I got on my knees and I went up in the air and I tyred to get on the ground before I get in

Halloween

On Sunday I went trick or treating but first I had to tidy my room, while my auntie was waiting with her kids. When it was finished I got dressed into my costume.
When I was ready and had baby powder and make-up on and black lipstick on. As I was walking my mum and auntie were talking and I had to wait for them to stop talking. Then I went to say bye to my mum, she called out “NOW I’M GOING TO DO THE WASHING” and I said “OK THEN” to my mum. “Come on auntie”
I ran fast to the first house .

When I went to the door the dog come running out from the back of the house and this lady told me to go to the back because the lollies were at the back of the gate. I went with my auntie to the next house. It was Mr Burt's house.
“Trick or treat” I said after I knocked on the door. Ashleigh said “Sorry but I like your costume” then I walked away and went to the next house.

Swimming

As I put my first yellow life jacket on,it hung off me.So I go another one. I put it on and it was damp and clammy and cold. Once we were all fitted with our yellow and red life jacket we were eagerly waiting for Chris to tell us to hop in the pool. Chris was a man who has come to teach as about water safety. He is from Water Safety NZ and he is going to stay here for the rest of the year.

As I first hopped in the pool Chris said “It is warm”. But it wasn’t, it was really really cold. I started screaming, my teeth were chattering and my lips were turning purple. I was on the last step I turned around and got in the half position. I was floating on the top of the water.Suddenly we had to stop because Chris put his hands on his head.

He then, told as to get in a circle and said “you have to to float on water and sing the National Anthem. Chris counted to 3 and we had to go on our back. THE END

Mighty Mariners

On Tuesday Room 15,18 and 14 went to the Auckland Museum to learn about all kinds of wakas like James Cook’s boat, and the Polynesians. After having a tour through the museum with Salty Sam, we went with this lady. She took room 15 to all the waka’s to see where our waka was (the waka from where our family come from) mine was from Tonga. First of all we thought it only had Tongaki only but then we saw the Tongan waka next to Tongaki. Lola and Te Rina took a photo in the front of the Tongan waka. Then we sat on the mat and the lady got out two sticks and a skinny long rope and tied it together and made a T and we had to do it. I was the first one out of the group that the lady put us in.
Then we went outside and put our hands on our heads and Salty Sam, told us that we had to go get our lunch and eat on the table and then rm 14 come. I went to go put my snack in my bag because we were going now. I ran to my group and we walked to the ferry to go to Devonport.

In the holidays I went to the mall to get some t-shirt’s for my brothers birthday. We were going to KFC and I was going, my dad and my sister and my mum were going too because my mum works there. We were going on Friday at 2:00. What we did was we played games and then we went to my aunty's house because she said she could give my brothers birthday cake. When we got there I said that my brother could give us some too.
Then we went to my dad’s house because I was going to stay there.

Jesse Martin Storm
Jesse Martin circumnavigated the world on his boat called Lionheart. He sailed from Australia to south Africa then he went around the world.As the storm struck the wind howled and Jesse’s hands went numb with cold. As soon as he was grinding the winch the wind blew him backwards and he almost fell overboard.When Jesse went to go to the bow, the wind blew the boat over as huge waves crashed into it.

Once Jesse got hit from a whale. He was scared course he might of killed the whale there was two big whale and one got angry and keepped on pushing the boat.

As I walked in the door I was amazed by all the teachers that had different costumes . As I sat down I thought this would be a good Immersion Assembly in the hall. When we all stop talking Mr Burt told us about our new topic for Team two. I looked around our school and I ''said in my head I like this it fun this Team two. They started to do the quiz in a min. What I liked about Team 4 was when Miss Lahar ''said your mama.'' What I liked about too was when Miss Maggie Magma announced the contestants that was in the quiz that was Miss Lava Lava and Miss Lahar Miss Cinder. The topic was Active Earth and it about Volcanoes and Earthquakes. I thought this was a good fun Immersion Assembly it was cool. I liked the part when Miss Lahar ''said mouse and when Miss Supersonic Electronic Tectonic Bionic thought that she was smarter then Miss Lahar and Miss Cinder. I saw Miss Supersonic flick her hair. My favorite part waTeam 4 because their did funny staff like Miss Lahar she ''said your mama'' and mouse.''Miss Maggie Magma had beautiful yellow hair. Miss lava lava is cool too because she was being kind to the kids go in them. When I walked out of the door I ''said in my head that I had fun seeing the show with the Teachers it was cool. Capture the Flag

On Friday after morning tea Miss Wood came into Room 15. She told us that we were going to play a game with Miss King and Room 14. We were all talking about it before we went to play.
First we walked to Room 14 and sat down. Next Miss King told us the rules. When she finished Room 15 and 14 finally walked down to the bottom field.
Room 15 had to sit by the park while Miss King set the game up.
We had to sit in 2 lines so we could give out the red and green bands.
At the start of the game Room 15 had to line up like Room 14 but at opposite ends of the field. When we lined up Miss King said "Go!!!" I went to grab the flag but Mary and Maru kept sprinting to get it. I couldn't stay there with only Tauwhare to help me. They kept getting our flag but luckily Tauwhare was fast and ran after them and tagged them.
Luckily Starford got our flag and ran back to our side. Room 15 won 6 times and Room 14 won once.
After playing Capture the Flag I was exhausted and sweaty, When it was time for lunch I didn't want it because I felt exhausted.
